Arts grants

The Grants to Arts Organisation Awards are a way of funding arts and cultural organisations to deliver programmes of work in Hull.

This year, 11 applications were received in total, with a combined request of £160,398.31. After consideration by a grants award panel, 6 awards of between £5,000 and £20,000 were made to support a range of local organisations to deliver 12 month programmes, as follows

• Silent Uproar Theatre Company - £20,000
• Artlink Hull - £20,000
• Hull Dance - £20,000
• The Herd Theatre Company - £10,000
• Concrete Youth - £5,000
• Hull Scrapstore - £5,000

Applications are currently closed

When applications re-open, eligible organisations could apply for a grant of between £5,000 to £20,000 to -

• increase the range of arts opportunities available to local communities
• support inclusive practice and celebrate diversity
• promote innovation and excellence
• develop regional, national and international networks

We will consider all applications that contribute to a healthy cultural ecosystem in the city.

Eligibility

You must be a formally constituted not-for-profit organisation with filed accounts that you can provide on request, such as a -

• limited company
• registered charity
• community interest company
• co-operative
