What to do if you think your multiplier is wrong
If you believe your multiplier for the current financial year is incorrect, you can ask us to review it by completing a Multiplier Enquiry form.
You will need your Business Rates account number to complete the online enquiry form. Your Business Rates account number is shown on the front of your demand and will begin with a 6. You can also find your account number If you have signed up to My business rates online.

The information you provide on this form will allow us to correct or confirm the multiplier used to calculate your Business Rates. You may be required to provide evidence to support your review request by -
- scanning or photographing original documents and e-mailing them to ndrsr@hullcc.gov.uk.
- visiting one of our Customer Service Centres
Whilst you can request a review of your multiplier at any time during your billing period, ratepayers are still required to continue to pay the amounts stated on their demand while the review is undertaken.
Responses are expected to be provided from the Business Rates Team within 10 working days of the review request.
