Crime Prevention Fund

The Crime Prevention Fund (CPF) offers capital grants. The grants go towards the costs of crime prevention measures within the city of Hull. It is designed to support community organisations to undertake local projects. The projects are funded to reduce crime and antisocial behaviour and improve feelings of safety.

The CPF wants to support the objectives of Hull’s Safer Communities Strategy and the Police and Crime Plan, 2021 to 2025.

The CPF can provide funding of between £500 and £25,000 to projects that meet the scheme criteria. Applications are split into 3 funding groups -

  • small grant. £500 to £5,000
  • medium grant. £5,001 to £15,000
  • large grant. £15,001 to £25,000

The criteria are the same for all applications. Larger projects need to be supported by greater detail.
