Successful Applicants and Monitoring
Grant Agreements Grants will be paid on receipt of a signed grant agreement and claim form which will be issued to successful applicants.
All funded projects will be required to comply with monitoring and reporting arrangements which will include submission of a project report with numbers of households participating over the lifetime of the project. This will need to be broken down to reflect whether the household had any -
- children
- pensioners
- disabled people
- other
and including at least one anonymised case study of at least 150 words.
All successful applicants will be required to collect outcome and performance data throughout the lifetime of the project.
Applicants receiving grants over £10,000 will be required to use Upshot, or another monitoring system approved by us.
Training, induction and support will be provided where required.
Successful applicants must maintain records sufficient to evidence -
- delivery
- outputs
- outcomes
- expenditure
if requested by us, DWP or auditors.
Monitoring and reporting
Successful applicants will be required to participate in monitoring and evaluation arrangements throughout the lifetime of the project.
Applicants must demonstrate their ability to collect and report appropriate performance information.
As a minimum, funded organisations will be required to report:

- contacts/interventions delivered
- referrals received
- referrals made
Household characteristics
Where possible, participating households should be recorded against the following categories -
- households with children
- pensioner households
- households containing a disabled person
- single adult households
- other relevant protected or priority groups
Resilience outcomes
Applicants should identify which of the following outcomes they expect to contribute towards and provide targets where appropriate:
Successful applicants will be expected to work with commissioners to develop ways to evidence their impact in reducing experiences of material deprivation and hardship.
Report -
- number of households supported
- evidence of improved access to essential goods and services
- resident feedback or outcome measures demonstrating reduced hardship
- case study evidence showing how support reduced experiences of material deprivation and improved household resilience
Reduced need for emergency food parcels
Report -
- number of households supported
- number moving from emergency food provision into longer-term support
- evidence of reduced reliance on emergency food aid
Increased access to appropriate and quality advice services
Report -
- number of residents accessing advice services
- number of completed referrals
- number receiving ongoing support
Increased savings
Report -
- number of residents supported with budgeting and financial capability
- number reporting improved ability to save
- evidence of increased financial resilience
Reduction in debt, particularly priority debt
Report -

- total debt managed, rescheduled or reduced
- number of priority debt issues addressed
Maximisation of individuals' incomes

Marketing and promotion
Successful applicants may be required to participate in -
- project evaluation
- monitoring and learning activities
- stakeholder events
- partnership meetings
- the sharing of good practice
to support the development of the Hull Money Team ecosystem and the wider Crisis and Resilience Fund programme.
Successful projects will be required to engage with promotional and communications activities undertaken by -
- us
- the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
- and other funding partners
where appropriate. Promotional materials relating to funded projects must acknowledge support from the Department for Work and Pensions, through the Crisis and Resilience Fund, and Hull City Council.
Approved branding and logos will be provided to successful applicants.
