Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment 2022 to 2025 (PNA)

The PNA is a document that describes how and where pharmacies in Hull provide their service. It includes any current and future gaps in how pharmaceutical services are provided. The document is used by NHS England to make decisions about whether to allow new pharmacies to open up in Hull. It is also to approve changes to current pharmacies in Hull. It should be used by commissioners of services. This is alongside the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment. There is a statutory requirement of the Health and Wellbeing Board to draft, consult upon and publish a PNA, and this must be completed every three years.
