Needs assessments

Joint strategic needs

The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) is a statutory requirement of the Health and Wellbeing Board.

We use the evidence to report on the things that can influence the health and wellbeing of our residents. This is used when making decisions about the services we provide or commission. It allows us to improve the health and wellbeing of our resident. We can then reduce inequalities amongst different groups of our residents.

The JSNA is for anyone with a professional or personal interest in -

  • health
  • wellbeing
  • population factors affecting Hull

If you need more information on the JSNA, contact the Public Health Intelligence Team. You can do this by email at publichealthintelligence@hullcc.gov.uk.
