Community High Streets Programme

Community high streets phase 1 sites

We have already completed a stage of public research when we gave local people the chance to have their say on the issues affecting the following community high streets.

  • Greenwich Avenue
  • Chanterlands Avenue
  • Gipsyville
  • Grampian Way
  • Anlaby Road/Coltman Street
  • Barham Road
  • Holderness Road/Woodford

We now have a series of concept master plans based on the findings from the public research. Your opinion is important to us and we are sharing these to give you a chance to have your say on these plans.

Each of the community high streets will have an individual survey that is available for you to complete. This is your opportunity to have your say and shape how your local area will look in the future. You may -

  • work in the area
  • run a business
  • visit the shops or a local service

Equally if you live nearby and you do not visit the centre, please tell us why and complete any of the surveys that are relevant to you.

Get involved and help us create a new vision for the local and neighbourhood centres within your community. A few minutes of your time completing this survey will give you your chance to help say how this investment can be used.

You can also now receive updates on each project by selecting the ‘subscribe’ button on the individual project page to receive regular email updates.

We are also offering the opportunity for each person who completes a survey to enter a draw for a chance to win prizes including shopping vouchers and exclusive experiences such as curated visits behind the scenes at some of Hull’s Museums. At the end of the survey, you will be given the opportunity to enter the prize draw and leave your details. On the same page you can also join the People's Panel - to have your say on more local decisions that affect you and your family.
