Pride in Place Programme

Greatfield - Pride in Place

Pride in Place is about giving local people real power to shape the future of their area.

Over the next ten years, up to £20 million will be invested in our area. Through Pride in Place, local people will decide how that money is spent, focusing on what matters most to the community. This is about improving everyday life for communities, now and in the years ahead.

What Pride in Place means for the Greatfield area

  • Decisions on how to spend this money is made locally, by local people and not by government
  • A Neighbourhood Board, made up of local people, will lead the work
  • The Board will listen to residents and involve the wider community in shaping priorities
  • Funding can be used on projects that matter most to local people
