Plug-in solar panels are becoming more popular, but they may not be suitable for every property.
Before buying or installing any plug-in solar panel equipment, you must contact us for advice, or in some instances, permission.

If permission is granted, always follow these important safety tips:
Do
- buy equipment from reputable suppliers
- look for UKCA or CE safety markings
- follow the manufacturer's instructions
- use qualified installers for any electrical work
- keep equipment in good condition
Do Not
- block balconies, walkways, windows, or fire escape routes
- use extension leads or adaptors
- modify cables, plugs, batteries, or equipment
- install panels where cladding or remediation works are planned

- buzzing noises
- damaged cables or equipment
- electrical trips or faults
In an Emergency
- move to a safe place
- call 999
- tell the emergency services that solar panels are installed
