Joint Strategic Needs Assessment

Home / Health and wellbeing / Public health / Joint Strategic Needs Assessment

The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) is a statutory requirement of the Health and Wellbeing Board.

We use the evidence to report on the things that can influence the health and wellbeing of our residents. This is used when making decisions about the services we provide or commission, allowing us to improve the health and wellbeing of our resident and reduce inequalities amongst different groups of our residents.

The JSNA is for anyone with a professional or personal interest in -

  • health
  • wellbeing
  • population factors affecting Hull

A new website for Hull's JSNA was launched in May 2022.

If you need any further information on the JSNA please contact the Public Health Intelligence Team via email at publichealthintelligence@hullcc.gov.uk
