Routine Tenancy Visits
A Routine Tenancy Visit is a visit undertaken by your Tenancy Officer. These are held to ensure -
- your contact details are up-to-date
- household members information is up-to-date
- any outstanding repairs are identified and raised to bring your home to a good standard
- you are aware of Fire Safety information for living in your home
- you aware of your responsibilities as a tenant and help you find support if you need it
The visit will give you the opportunity to raise any issues you may have in relation to your tenancy, or the property, giving you guidance on how we can support you with these issues or signpost you to where your query can be resolved.
You will be notified of the appointment via a letter and may receive a follow up call or text message prior to the date to remind you of the upcoming appointment.
The visits will be carried out on a rolling basis and are prioritised in categories relating to -
- age
- any health conditions we are aware of
- recent repairs
- any household vulnerabilities
We will continue to complete the visits every few years to ensure we are visible to our tenants and to assist you in your tenancy.
