Skip permits

In order to request a skip permit you must be on the approved list of contractors. To apply for a skip to be placed on the adopted highway you will -

  • need to make the request by emailing network.management@hullcc.gov.uk. This must include -
    • the location of where the skip is to be placed
    • the size
    • start dates
    • the expected duration

The permit will be issued directly to the company making the request. The licence is to cover for one week at a fee of £29.  Any extensions must be requested by emailing network.management@hullcc.gov.uk

Skip permits can take up to three working days to be processed, although every effort is made to process these as soon as possible. Invoices will be sent out on a monthly basis with a breakdown of all skip requests made by the skip company.

If any applications are unsuccessful the Network Management will contact you directly.
