The Local Government Transparency Code 2015 sets out the framework within which we make information available to the public on a -

  • monthly
  • quarterly
  • annual

basis.

Below you will find a variety of links to that information, together with wider Information that we hold. They will help with how to request information from us.

To avoid delay in accessing information, before making a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act, you are encouraged to review the information we already publish. If there are gaps in information that you believe would improve our service through regular publication, let us know by contacting us.

Staffing information and pay and grading structure

The most recent salary scales identifying levels of pay and information on senior officer salaries.

Details of the allowances and expenses that can be incurred or claimed. Access to the Travel and Subsidence Policy and other staff benefits.

Procurement procedures

Details of procedures for acquiring goods and services are set out in the contract procedure rules in Part C of the Constitution. Details of contracts available for public tender can be found on the Yorprocure Portal.

Members financial information

The Members’ Allowances Scheme and the allowances paid under it to councillors each year. The categories are produced in line with council guidelines and are under the headings -
