River Hull Walkway
Following an inspection in July 2021, it was found that the River Hull Walkway was in very poor condition.
Due to concerns for public safety, the structure was partially closed and has since been on a six-month monitoring regime.
To maintain safety, we have been engaging with structural engineers to access the current condition of the structure and the next steps for the walkway. It is expected that due to the safety concerns around its stability, a large part of the walkway will have to be removed.
In the meantime, while remedial works are being planned, the structure will remain partially closed to pedestrians and cyclists.
